Ingredients:

  • Enoki mushrooms
  • Rubber band
  • Plastic wrap
  • 70g all-purpose flour
  • 2g salt
  • Pepper, to taste
  • 100g water
  • Bread crumbs
  • Cooking oil

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Mushroom

    • Wash the Enoki mushrooms thoroughly.
    • Secure the mushrooms by tying them with a rubber band.
    • Cut between the mushrooms with a knife.

    • Cover the mushrooms with plastic wrap and freeze for 4 hours.

  4. In a bowl, mix 70g all-purpose flour, 2g salt, and pepper to taste.

    • Add 100g water and mix to create a batter.
    • Prepare bread crumbs in a separate bowl.
  6. Coat the Mushrooms:

    • After 4 hours, remove the elastic band from the mushrooms.
    • First, dip the mushrooms in the flour batter.
    • Then, apply bread crumbs to coat them evenly.
  7. Cooking Options:

    Air Fryer:

    • Preheat the air fryer to 200℃.
    • Place the coated mushrooms in the air fryer.
    • Cook for 15 minutes, flipping halfway through.

    Oil Frying:

    • Heat cooking oil in a pan.
    • Fry the mushrooms until they are golden brown.
  8. Serving:

    • The mushrooms should be crispy on the outside and moist on the inside.
    • For extra flavor, you can add a bit of pork cutlet sauce, although the mushrooms taste great on their own as well.
