Germany vs Switzerland: Niklas Volkrug, substituted in the second half, secured Germany’s first place in Group A with a crucial goal against Switzerland, resulting in a 1-1 draw. Switzerland had initially taken the lead with a goal from Dan Ndoye in the 28th minute. Despite a disallowed goal for Germany’s Robert Andrich, Volkrug’s header in stoppage time leveled the score. Germany finishes top of the group with 7 points, having previously defeated Scotland 5-1 and Hungary 2-0. Switzerland advances with 5 points after a 3-1 win against Hungary and a 1-1 draw with Scotland.

Hungary vs Scotland: Hungary revived their chances of advancing to the round of 16 by defeating Scotland 1-0, courtesy of Kevin Kosput’s goal in the 100th minute. Hungary finishes third in Group A with 3 points, while Scotland ends their campaign with 1 point in fourth place.
